since we had anyone in our family playing basketball. Gatlin only played a couple years of soccer before deciding sports weren't his thing. Unfortunately he hasn't yet figured out what his thing is but that's another story. Anyway when Grant was about three years old he three oldest brothers made it very clear that this kid better play sports. They all played something all the time, soccer, basketball, baseball, and a couple of them even played a couple years of football oh and let not forget that they each tried a season of wrestling.
Grant has played soccer the past two years and likes it well enough but I wanted him to try something else. So this year we are giving basketball a try. The league he plays for is pretty low key, almost too low key for my competitive spirit but that too is another story. He really doesn't have an athletic bone in his body so he is quite comical to watch sometimes but he is having fun is learning some new skills and hopefully a love for the game so I guess it is all working out.
