Day 16-Dream house
I don't really have a dream house. Over the years my taste and "wants" for a perfect house have changed. There was a time when I wanted to live in a log cabin, a castle, a southern plantation home, a beach house pretty much everything. I hate split levels, swore I would never live in one but that's where I have been for the past 16 years. It's been a great house with plenty of room and bathrooms for all so I have no complaints.
Truthfully I have never been one to stress over having a fancy house. I'm a simple girl with simple needs. I actually look forward to the day when we can move back over to our little 950 sq. ft. rambler. After 28 years and six kids we have accumulated way too much stuff. I'm looking forward to a super purge and downsizing.
Day 17-Something you're looking forward to
I think I just mentioned that in the previous post. hahahaha
Obviously that isn't all I'm looking forward to. I'm looking forward to a lot. I don't have any great current plans for a big trip or anything so there is nothing like that. More just the normal life stuff, like my children being happily married and making lots and lots of grand babies for me. I'm looking forward to having a couple more sons serve missions. I miss having a missionary in the field. Oh, one thing that isn't too far off is Grant's baptism. I am definitely looking forward to that.
And right now I need to leave to take Gatlin to an oral surgeon consult because he has to get his wisdom teeth pulled. I am NOT looking forward to that.
