Day 12-What you believe
I ask myself how deep I want to go on this one and I'm still wondering. I was going to type it up at 1:00 this morning but decided I wanted a clear head. Since I only got three hours sleep I'm not sure my thoughts will be any more clear now then they would have been in the wee hours of the night but I'll give it my best shot.
On a religious level, which in reality affects all that I believe, I believe in God the Eternal Father and in his Son, Jesus Christ. I believe that through the power of the Holy Ghost our prayers are answered and all things can be revealed to us. My faith does not waver on this.
I believe that the United State of America is the best country in the world and I am so grateful to live here. Having said that I would hope that each of you, no matter what country you reside in, would feel the same way about your homeland.
I believe that I lived, as a spirit, before coming to this earth. I believe there are many more spirits waiting to gain bodies and live in mortality. That is one reason I have chosen to have so many children. That is one reason I hope my children choose the same.
I believe that God has given us a beautiful earth that will sustain us. He wants his spirit children to gain a body and come to Earth. Earth will be here for them.
I believe we all have our agency to believe and live our lives the way we choose. There will be consequences, both good and bad, for those choices but we have a choice.
I believe the choices we make have an impact on the lives of others both directly and indirectly. Let's make wise choices.
I believe I will see my loved ones again, after I leave this earth. It is that belief that sustains me whenever a family member or close friend passes on. I know death is not the end. It is merely a new beginning.
I believe that one day ALL of my children will be married in the temple for time and all eternity. It may take some of them a little longer than others but they will and I will be blessed with a plethora of grand children.
I believe that no matter what trials come my way I will be given the strength to see them through. That strength will come to me through my faith in my Father in Heaven and his son Jesus Christ and the love and help of others.
I believe that we don't have all the answers. We don't know all of the plan. My parent's reunion last summer has confirmed this to me.
I believe that miracles continue to take place today.
I believe in true love but I believe you have to work at it to make it happen.
I believe in being honest.
I believe in all of this and so much more.
What do you believe?
Beautiful and well thought out. This one stumped me.
