It's been a few years since we've had a "sweet sixteen" year old and the last one was a girl so really is a boy considered "sweet Sixteen"? I don't think so although he can be pretty sweet. It's strange that no matter how many kids you have and how old you become you never seem to forget the moment of your child's birth. Gatlin's is no exception. I remember it like it was yesterday. It's hard to imagine that he is sixteen. Old enough to drive, although far from being ready. He hasn't even taken drivers ed. so that won't be happening for a while. He's old enough to date too although like a couple of his brothers before him he shows no interest in that right now. Thank Goodness. He is now also old enough to become a Priest and be able to bless the Sacrament and baptize people. That is the most amazing thing to me.
