Dale Insisted On A Facelift

for the living room. I mean she's only 33 years old but her last application of makeup was in 1994 so I guess she was really over due.  I am so excited about the warmth the new color gives the room. Dale painted the entryway too but I'll have to get pictures of that later since the carpet cleaner is here right now. :)

A lot of people don't know that Dale painted professionally one summer. And we painted an awful lot during the 7 years we managed apartments. Yep, he's pretty much a pro. Look and that brilliant yellow on all that white. I'm loving it already.

Started out just doing the main wall.

Decided we would do all the walls that would have the red curtains hanging on them and the piano wall.

More cutting like a pro. Notice the guy doesn't even need to tape.

The tape did need to come out when it was time to paint the trim.  We went with a brilliant white color. There is a creamy white on there right now.

More taping and now the reveal...

The curtains added a lot when we put those up last year but I was getting really tired of always having white walls.

AFTER:

I love it!!!

I hate to put new holes in the walls to hang the pictures back up.
