Benton's Birthday
It's a little strange looking back at these pictures of Benton's 3rd birthday last week. How can I possibly have a three year old grandson when it feels like his father was this age just a few years ago? Where does the time go?
Geoffrey and Jessie are living with her folks right now so they hosted a birthday dinner for Benton. Earlier in the day they all went to an indoor water park so Benton and Bailie could swim and play. No pictures since the pool doesn't allow them to be taken.
Benton seemed to like his super hero cape and wanted to wear it right away.
He wasn't too sure about the mask. He kept asking for it calling it "eyes" but would only leave it on for a few seconds.
That is a lot of candles for a boy that is only three. Instead of three candles Jessie "wrote" out the number three with the candles. Benton LOVED blowing the candle out and had his grandma C. relight them two more times so he could blow them out again and again.
Benton is kind of a picky eater and doesn't really like ice cream or cake so he just kept putting M&M's on the top of the cake just to take them off again and eat them.
Benton and Grandma C. winding down for the night. It was a busy, busy day for Benton and he was pretty tired by the end of the evening.

There's no candles on the cake but it was definitely Dale's birthday. Oh and just so you know, Gregory is laughing on the inside. Geoffrey and his family came over a couple days before because he had to work on the day we actually celebrated but it was nice having the rest of the gang together.
